When we last saw noted rapper and bandwagon fan Drake shoot a basketball, things did not go very well. His terrible airball at Kentucky’s midnight madness made all of America laugh but did little to build Drake’s reputation as a badass.
But fresh off an open-mouthed kiss from Madonna, Drake is trying to change the public’s perception of him as a basketball player.
His Instagram post of himself knocking down a deep three-pointer included Steph Curry in the tag. Because, you know, one can never be sure when the Golden State Warriors will need another gunner for the playoffs.
The real victory, if there is one here, is that Drake can now say with confidence that he’s better at hoops than Justin Bieber.
Of course, that bar is very low.
