Draymond Green Accuses NBA Of Hypocrisy After Getting Kicked In The Junk By Jarrett Allen

Draymond Green has a lengthy history of delivering shots to the groin of opposing players, and he wasn’t exactly greeted with an outpouring of sympathy after finding himself on the receiving end of a low blow against the Cavaliers on Sunday. However, that didn’t stop him from calling out the refs for failing to hit the offender with the foul he thought he deserved.

There are plenty of people who’d describe Draymond Green as a “dirty player,” and he certainly did what he could to earn the label thanks to what unfolded over the course of the NBA playoffs in 2016.

When the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, Steven Adams found himself on the receiving end of multiple shots to the family jewels courtesy of Green, who hit him with a knee in Game 2 and got him with a forceful kick between the legs in Game 4.

The league ultimately upgraded that second violation to a Flagrant 2, which played a role in its decision to suspend Green for a game after he hit LeBron James with another low blow during a heated altercation in Game 4.

On Sunday, the Warriors faced off against the Cavaliers in Cleveland for a contest that was temporarily put on hold at the start of the first quarter after Green found himself writhing in pain on the court courtesy of Jarrett Allen, who inadvertently gave the big man a taste of his own medicine while trying to grab a rebound.

The refs declined to call a foul on Allen for what transpired during the battle for the board, and after the Warriors walked away with a 115-104 loss at the hands of the home team, Green hopped on Instagram to air some grievances by posting a picture of the play in question along with the caption “The Draymond Green Rule is only a rule when Draymond Green is delivering…cool.”

Now, anyone who’s fallen victim to a similar plight knows why Green was less than thrilled with what transpired, but when you consider there didn’t seem to be any ill intent on Allen’s part, the longtime Warrior isn’t doing himself any favors when it comes to dissuading the notion he’s one of the bigger crybabies in the league.
