On Saturday afternoon, Green held a press conference to address the punch, where he apologized to Poole and the team for his actions while saying that he was going to step away from the team for a few days.
“There’s a huge embarrassment that comes from (the video) not only for myself … but the embarrassment that Jordan has to deal with … and also Jordan’s family.
“I was wrong for my actions. For that, I apologized. The embarrassment that Jordan, this team, this organization has to deal with, but also his family saw that video.. For that, I apologize to his mother & his father
Green went on to say that he felt it was b.s. that the video leaked and he felt that it was edited in a way that made him look awful.
"If I'm being 100% honest, I thought it was bullshit (that the video leaked)… I watched the video 15 times, maybe more. When I watched the video, I'm like, 'yo, this looks awful. Looks even worse than I thought.'"

Green says that when he first watched the leaked video, the incident looked worse than he thought it was. He said the way the video was cut (no lead up, no audio) was to make the altercation look awful.
He adds: "But what I did was wrong, regardless of the video leaking."

Draymond Green: "Regardless of how the video was leaked with audio or without audio, I was wrong. I accept that and will move forward with that."

Fans thought it was interesting that Green was angry that the video was leaked without audio.
This is hilarious. Draymond Green says that the audio in the video was removed to make him look worse. Which suggests he believes Poole was in the wrong with what he said.
This guy is not contrite. He's bullshiting you all – as usual. https://t.co/sarubakxzy

i’m just curious does draymond think that any other cut of the practice video wouldn’t end up with everyone seein how bad it looks if we had like an extra 2 minutes of context or audio or whatever? https://t.co/NUYmBxLMVf

"with audio or without audio" is so funny because he is using an apology to suggest the possibility that blame could be deflected if all the information was out there https://t.co/q1vXAtuMwP
