Following Tuesday night’s loss to the 19-53 Orlando Magic, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green ripped into the team’s performance.

Losing the game by a score of 94-90, Green — who had two points, seven assists, and three rebounds in the game — shredded the Warriors for their “soft” and “stupid” play, which has led to them losing three straight games.

The Warriors, of course, are without star point guard Stephen Curry, who’s currently sidelined with a sprained ligament in his left foot.

Draymond Green rips the Warriors for playing “soft” and “stupid”

“I think we’re playing soft, we’re playing stupid. We’re just not playing good basketball, we’re getting punked. It’s hard to win a game getting punked. That’s kind of where we are right now,” Green said to reporters during his postgame press conference.

“No disrespect to the Orlando Magic, but they are one of the worst teams in the league. And we can’t match up with them. And if you can’t match up with them, you’re definitely not going to do it against the great teams. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a concern, but that’s what’s happening. I don’t doubt that we can fix it, but if we’re going to win some games then it’s got to be fixed.”

As things currently stand, the Golden State Warriors are the #3 seed in the NBA’s Western Conference, trailing the #1 seed Phoenix Suns and the #2 seed Memphis Grizzlies.

With just 10 games left in the regular season, the Warriors currently sit at 47-25. Golden State presently boasts +450 odds to win this season’s NBA title, which gives them the second shortest odds following the favorite Phoenix Suns. Trailing the Suns and the Warriors are the Brooklyn Nets (+650), the Milwaukee Bucks (+700), and the Philadelphia 76ers (+700).
