Fans Are Convinced Joe Buck Was Inebriated During Monday Night Football Broadcast

Joe Buck was trending on social media because everyone thought Buck sounded a bit tipsy before the game.

Before the Patriots-Cardinals Monday Night Football game, Buck appeared to slur his words during the pregame intro.

During a podcast appearance last year, Buck admitted to drinking tequila in the booth to get relaxed.

“We have had that glass of bourbon in the booth,” Buck told Cowherd during a conversation about building chemistry with Aikman. “Although it’s not bourbon, it’s tequila, splash of Grand Marnier and grapefruit juice.

“I went through a couple years where in the first inning of every postseason baseball game, I had the runner go get the biggest beer that the stadium sold. And I had it sitting there, and I would sip it from time to time to remind myself to relax and have fun. I’m just doing a game.”

Apparently, “drunk Joe Buck” is a fan favorite.
