Coach K’s final season lives on.

The Blue Devils took down Texas Tech on Thursday night to advance to the Elite Eight. Duke will now prepare for Arkansas with a chance for a Final Four appearance on the line.

This one certainly wasn’t easy.

The Red Raiders led for the majority of the game after running out to a 10-2 start. The Blue Devils were able to pull it back within four before halftime.

The second half was back and forth, with the two sides trading 11 leads over the final 13 minutes of action. Duke was able to pull away in the end thanks to some clutch shooting, sealing the fate of the Red Raiders. Coach K’s bunch made their final eight shots of regulation, outscoring Texas Tech by nine in the second half.

Paolo Banchero led the way with 22 points, but it was Jeremy Roach who stole the show. The guard tallied 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting and was a catalyst for the offense all night long. He also dished out a team-high five assists.

After the game was through, the college basketball world took to social media to react to the come-from-behind win.
