UFC 281 came and went but the card was so intense everyone is still talking about it. That’s especially true for Dustin Poirier, as he speaks about his bloody brawl with Michael Chandler. As it turns out, Poirier is an absolute madman based on his latest comments.
During an interview with Ariel Helwani, the UFC star was asked about the moment when Chandler’s blood is pouring all over his face. It was one of the grossest things you’ll ever see in the octagon. However, Dustin Poirier calmly states, “I love that stuff.” Listen to his full statement below.

It takes a different type of mentality to be a professional fighter, to begin with. Dusing Poirier and Michael Chandler are two of the wildest stars in the UFC. Their brawl did not disappoint.
Even with that in mind, Poirier is out of his mind claiming he loves having someone else’s blood poured all over his face. I’d be freaking out and probably gagging. But hey, that’s why these guys fight in the UFC and I don’t.
At the end of the day, these two delivered an entertaining fight at UFC 281 and that’s all fans can ask for. Maybe they’ll clash in the cage again down the road. For now, keep an eye on Dustin Poirier as his next bout could be the biggest of his career yet. Especially considering he’s still in the hunt for the Lightweight title.
