Dwight Howard is enjoying his time playing basketball in Taiwan. The former NBA player is absolutely dominating his competition while becoming a popular personality amongst followers.
Howard just finished up his latest season with the Taoyuan Leopards where he averaged 23.2 points and 16.2 boards a night. That led to him being named a 2023 T1 League All-Star.
In that All-Star Game appearance, he not only won MVP honors, but he also shocked NBA fans by competing in the three-point shooting contest.
He’s seemingly loving the new exposure, even being seen in a recent Taiwanese advertisement, which followers got an absolute kick out of.
Now, he wants others to join in on the fun.
The big man was seen recruiting current NBA players to play in Taiwan. More specifically, he called out a number of stars that underperformed in the playoffs.
Those on the list included Golden State’s Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson, New York’s Julius Randle, Brooklyn’s Ben Simmons, and more.
KD and James Harden even made the cut.

Fans were quick to comment.
One person wrote, “This has me crying,” while another said, “Bro building the Monstars In Taiwan.”
Someone else posted, “Dwight Howard said ‘Taiwan ain’t bad…'”
This follower wrote, “He forgot Doc Rivers.”
Rivers was fired on Tuesday after the Sixers were eliminated from NBA title contention. Might as well recruit a coach to lead the charge.
Howard doesn’t seem to be missing the NBA at all, and those on his list will be watching the playoffs from home just like him. We’ll see if anyone accepts his invite and makes the move overseas.
