The Sacramento Kings were able to take Game 1 over the Golden State Warriors.

However, there was a bit of drama in the stands, as rapper E-40 was apparently escorted out of the arena midway through the fourth quarter.

Now, the popular hip-hop artist issues a full statement about what transpired on Saturday night. He calls out the Kings’ security team in doing so.

According to Shams Charania, E-40 claims, “racial bias was the reason behind him being kicked out of Golden 1 Center.”

He details that a Kings fan had been harassing him all game. After finally turning around and confronting her, security came and took him away.

Here is E-40’s official statement, as he requests for the Kings to investigate the incident.

The Kings have yet to respond and it’s unclear whether or not they will.

Sacramento will either follow through with an investigation, or they won’t. Of course, they could opt to ignore E-40’s statement as well.

We’ll see what happens though. Game 2 takes place on Monday night. Perhaps we’ll see E-40 on the sideline once again as he roots for the Warriors.

If not, it’s completely understandable. Especially if he feels the Kings’ security team treated him unfairly.

With that said, keep an eye on Sacramento for now, as it’ll be interesting to see how the organization handles this situation.

The easy answer would be to simply follow through with E-40’s request and investigate what happened in the stands. But, it’s the Kings’ decision to do so. Ball is in their court!
