Philadelphia Eagles fans are ready for their NFC Championship matchup with the 49ers. And they started getting revved up for the game bright and early.

Supporters were seen tailgating in the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, setting up shop in the streets of Philly as they waited for parking lots to open.

Now, this scene is far from surprising. Those who follow sports know just how rabid Philadelphia fans can be. Phillies fans went crazy when the team advanced to the World Series this past season. Much of that celebration involved scaling light poles.

With the Eagles having the potential to move on to a Super Bowl, the city is back in action.

Fans in Philadelphia were spotted setting up the pregame festivities as early as 4:00 AM Sunday morning. Those makeshift tailgating spots had to be set up in the streets surrounding the stadium as lots were hours away from opening.

This was the scene at 6:30 AM. Fans were ready to root the Eagles on.

Of course, things got even crazier when the parking lots opened up. Those supporters already seem a little tuned up, with this fan predicting a 40-10 win in favor of Philadelphia.

The party was not as welcoming for those visiting from San Francisco. Eagles fans were seen throwing eggs at those rooting on the 49ers.

“Worst fanbase ever,” was a common reply to seeing that latest video, though you can’t question their dedication to the home team.

Philly will hope to land its first Super Bowl appearance since the 2017 season when Nick Foles led the Eagles to a championship over Tom Brady and the Patriots. That will be a tall order considering the Niners enter the NFC title game riding a 12-game winning streak.

One thing is for sure, the fanbase won’t be to blame for a losing effort. The environment at the Linc should be wild.
