The Eagles have snagged a significant catch for their team, signing seven-time Pro-Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones to a one-year deal.

This signing brings Jones back together with his former Titans’ teammate, AJ Brown, who had reportedly pushed for Jones to join him in Tennessee after a trade from Atlanta, as revealed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Julio has had a ton of success against the Eagles, with 50 catches for 804 yards and five TDs in seven career games. Jones will now potentially fill the role of the team’s WR3.

With his addition, the Eagles’ offense now boasts a strong Alabama connection, featuring quarterback Jalen Hurts, wide receivers Julio Jones and Devonta Smith, and offensive lineman Landon Dickerson.

This marks Jones’ fourth team in as many years, after playing on the Falcons, Titans, Buccaneers and now joining the Eagles.

Julio has had an hall of fame level career which includes 13,629 receiving yards.

Julio will start off on the practice squad but will probably join the active roster after getting up to speed.
