Egyptian players are not happy with the refs after their World Cup game against Argentina.

In the second half of the game, an Egyptian goal was disallowed by VAR due to a foul that occurred nearly 100 yards from where it was scored.

Argentina later scored three goals in the second half to defeat Egypt.

After the game, Egypt’s Mostafa Ziko ripped into the refs.

“Congratulations to Argentina on the World Cup; the tournament was rigged, they didn’t need anything else.”

“The referee was unfair, unfair, unfair, unfair.”

Egypt’s Coach Hossam Hassan also ripped into the refs.

“I will say what’s on my mind regardless of the consequence, this was clearly a rigged match and the whole world saw it”

“And I want to say one more thing, if they want them [Argentina] to win so bad, why call everyone to come and participate?”

Sky Sports’ Jamie Carragher also believed the refs rigged the game against Egypt with the disallowed goal.

“I am telling you that, if that was against another team it would have been awarded as a goal”

“If that was in the premier league, Laliga or Serie A, it would have been a goal even after VAR review, there is a lot of inconsistency lately in this tournament”
