Athlete-celebrity relationships are all the rage right now, with Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce making headlines seemingly every day. And, many on social media thought that we may be headed for another one.
Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen and A-list actress Emma Stone were seen flirting during the Suns’ matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.

Look at his Suns teammates. They absolutely cannot believe what’s going on. Neither could I, if I’m being honest.
Emma Stone is one of the world’s most recognizable, critically acclaimed, and highest-earning actresses.
The Easy A, La La Land, and Birdman actress is known for being adaptable to a ton of different roles, as any top-flight actress is. Quite frankly, would be pretty nuts to see someone like her with an NBA role player like Grayson Allen.
Allen, who gained a reputation as a dirty player at Duke and has continued that reputation into the NBA, though he’s turned into a solid NBA player. They would be a pretty unlikely couple, though.
Of course, the biggest reason that they would be an unlikely couple is that Emma Stone is currently married to actor Dave McCary, a pretty important detail when it comes to dating rumors.
But, this is still a weird interaction. Yes, Stone is from Arizona, but I have to know why these two know each other so well.
The Suns beat the Lakers, 127-109. Grayson Allen had five points.
