Earlier this week there were reports that the Vikings were interested in acquiring Odell Beckham Jr. from the Browns. The sports world is also shut down at the moment and it happens to be a day that ends in ‘y’ so there are some serious OBJ trade rumors about.

A few key personnel in Cleveland’s front office have come out and said the reports are completely false, but that didn’t keep the panel on ‘Get Up’ on Friday morning to discuss whether or not the Browns should actually look to move the star wide receiver.

Dan Orlovsky is completely onboard with the idea given the fact that Beckham Jr. hasn’t necessarily lived up to his potential over the last couple of seasons. He even suggested that the Browns should accept an offer for OBJ even if it’s just a second-round pick.

“I go to the Cleveland Browns and say ‘you’re going to trade a receiver who in the last two years has not been Top 15 in yards, Top 20 in catches and he has not been Top 30 in touchdowns,'” Orlovsky explained in his hypothetical. “So we’re going to trade that player away and you’re going to get an early second-round pick. The Browns should say yes to that.

We have to look at him in the lens of what he’s done lately.”

Beckham finished second in all three major receiving categories among Browns wideouts a season ago. His 74 catches and four touchdowns were by far the worst numbers he’s put up during his career outside of his injury-plagued 2017 season.

While it doesn’t sound like Cleveland is looking to trade away the 27-year-old, this is OBJ we’re talking about here, essentially anything is on the table.
