Elon Musk is facing a ton of backlash from some of the most prominent accounts on the Twitter/X platform.
Several high-end advertisers, including Disney, Apple, and Paramount, have stopped advertising on Twitter/x after Musk is being accused of endorsing an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory on the platform.

Advertisers are leaving the site formerly known as Twitter after a new report found that pro-Nazi content was appearing next to company ads and Musk himself supported a baseless antisemitic conspiracy theory to his 163 million followers.
As of Saturday morning, Disney, Comcast NBCUniversal, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, Paramount Global and Apple had all announced they were pulling ads from X, according to multiple news outlets that cited sources at the companies.
NPR reached out to each company to request confirmation. Spokespersons for Disney and Comcast NBCUniversal confirmed the reports, but no other companies had responded by the time of publication.
On college football Saturday, all of ESPN’s accounts, including the SportsCenter account, which boasts 42 million followers, went dark in an apparent protest of Musk’s tweet.
ESPN’s parent company Disney, also halted all tweeting from popular accounts such as Marvel, Star Wars, and others.
The only ESPN account that is active is the ESPN PR account. ESPN personalities have been allowed to tweet as usual.
It’s currently unclear how long ESPN/Disney will continue their protest of Musk on Twitter/X.
Update: The ESPN CFB tweeted for the first time on Saturday at 10pm EST to give an update on Jordan Travis’ injury.
Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis was carted off the field after his leg bent at an awkward angle on a run in the first quarter of Saturday's game against North Alabama. https://t.co/A5SMILxrk6
