ESPN is facing criticism over a recent social media post. On Saturday, Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky got blown out by the Phoenix Mercury 107-86.

The game was not competitive, and the Sky were down big the whole game.

Even though the Sky were getting embarrassed on the court, ESPN thought it was a good idea to post a highlight of Reese hitting a three-pointer while her team was down over 20 points.

Fans immediately crushed ESPN for posting Angel Reese highlights while her team was getting blown out.

“I know I’m falling for the engagement trap by amplifying this but posts like this are terrible for ESPN’s brand. That emoji when she hits a shot while her 3-9 team is down 20 points? Who is this for?” commented Ryan Glasspeigel of Front Office Sports.
