Every California Golf Course Will Be One Giant Sand Trap By The End The Year

The California drought is no joke. It hasn’t rained in parts of Cali, since, like 1994.

According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, 46% of Cali is under “exceptional drought conditions” and the forecast for this summer is only going to make the situation worse. It’s getting so bad people are stealing water. STEALING WATER!

The state is mandating people reduce water consumption by 25% and businesses who essentially need water to stay in business are trying to find a way to survive. For example, golf courses are ripping up perfectly fine patches of fairway to put in grass and shrubbery that doesn’t need as much H20.

In other words, every hole will just be a tee box, one giant sand trap and a green.
