Every NFL Logo As A Professional Wrestler Is One Of The Greatest Things I’ve Ever Seen

Thanks to some creative souls over at Uproxx Sports comes every NFL logo as a professional wrestler.

It’s almost pathetic how happy this made me when it popped up in my Twitter feed. Actually, it is pathetic. But let’s get to the point that matters: With the Royal Rumble coming up this weekend, along with some rather large football games, it only makes sense for such an idea to be delivered on this now wonderful Friday.

I’m sure plenty of people will piss and moan, and probably already have, over which guys represented which cities. But if you don’t like it, design your own god damn logos, print out your favorite one, and slap it on your forehead, Slappy.

In no particular order — and with hateful feelings about the actual team they’re representing swept aside — these are my eight favorites.

The Miami Rocks

A true no-brainer. No one lives for the city of Miami quite like The Rock. And that includes both anyone inside AND outside of the wrestling world.

*****

The Oakland Stingers

I can’t think of a better alliance than this one, mostly due to the color scheme of both Sting and the Raiders. As always, it comes down to effective #branding.

*****

The Denver Flair

I’m sure most people will complain that Flair isn’t associated with the Panthers, but remember, he turned his back on that franchise a few years ago, showing allegiance to the 49ers prior to a playoff game. Never forget.

*****

Macho Man Dallas Savage

It’s all about the hat. Nobody wore a cowboy hat like Macho Man.

*****

The Washington Hogans

If you don’t understand the correlation here, you are very, VERY behind in the news.

*****

Andre The Giants

An obvious one and a GREAT one.

*****

Jacksonville Sheiks

Anything involving the Iron Sheik is amazing, which is proven by the fact I’m saying anything even remotely positive that’s associated with the Jaguars.

*****

San Diego Undertaker

The Undertaker has the ability to turn on the lights with his hands at any given moments, so a marriage with the Chargers makes for the perfect union.

Head on over to Uproxx to enjoy the rest.
