Jorge Masvidal will be officially taking on Nate Diaz in a boxing match in June.

On Tuesday, Masvidal confirmed that he has unretired to box Diaz on June 1st in a co-promotion between Diaz’s Real Fight Inc. and Masvidal’s GameBred Boxing.

The bout will take place in Los Angeles at the KIA forum, and will be for 10 rounds at 175 pounds.

“Nate’s a dead man walking,” Masvidal said in a statement given to MMA Fighting. “I can’t wait to prove that last time was no fluke. He got saved by the referee. Now we are boxing, which he says is his forte, but he’s got no shot at beating me. I’m not going to give him an inch in that ring to even breathe. If he thought our MMA match was bad, this is going to be much worse. I’m going to drown him. I want to put away any talk that him and I are the same, or that the referee saved the day. All of that talk ends June 1.”

Masvidal’s last MMA fight happened last year at UFC 287 and Diaz recently boxed against Jake Paul last summer in a loss.

The two fought in MMA for the BMF belt back in 2019 in the UFC, in which Masvidal won via TKO stoppage.

The fight will be carried on Fanmio PPV with an early price of $49.99 which will go up to $79.99 after April 12th.
