The fan who ran onto the court during Game 1 of the NBA Finals has received a lifetime ban from attending NBA games.
On Wednesday night, a fan interrupted game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Spurs and the Knicks by running onto the court to take a selfie with Victor Wembanyama.

Wembanyama spoke about the incident during his postgame press conference.
“I’ve never been in that situation,” Wembanyama said. “I didn’t know how to act. It really surprised me, almost as much as that time where a bat crossed the court.”
According to NBA insider Tim Reynolds, the fan was arrested and has now been banned for life from attending NBA games.

The person who ran onto the court update from an NBA spokesman:
“The individual who entered the court area during Game 1 of The Finals was arrested & will be banned for life from all NBA arenas. A second individual will also receive a lifetime ban for his role in the incident.”
The fan ended up releasing his point of view of himself running on the court.
