Fans believe Troy Aikman is fed up with Joe Buck.
Earlier this year, Buck signed a $100 million contract extension with ESPN, while Aikman remains on an expiring contract that won’t be resolved until after the season ends.
Last week, Front Office Sports reported that Aikman and Buck had a heated confrontation over his contract.

“On Monday night, before the Rams took on the Bills at SoFi Stadium, the site of this season’s Super Bowl, Buck “broke the ice” on this unspoken tension, and he and Aikman had an argument, a source said. It ultimately de-escalated, and the two had a broadcast in which viewers never would have been able to decipher that something was amiss.”
Aikman would later discuss the contract situation during a radio appearance on 96.7 The Ticket.
“There’s probably a time and a place for all that to be discussed. I don’t know if now is the time. I don’t know that it’s hard to figure out kind of what’s happened. I’ll broadcast through this season and I’ll be a free agent at the end of the year and kind of see what happens. I’m looking forward to whatever the rest of this year does hold with the Super Bowl and all that and where my next landing spot might be.”
On Monday Night, Buck and Aikman stood next to each other for the first time since their reported argument to call the Commanders-Niners game.

Fans are convinced the two are sick of each other.
Troy aikman does not want to be there lmao rough bc they were one of my fav duos. I love how aikman calls everything straight and doesn’t sugar coat anything. I’m going to guess cbs gets him to pair him with nantz
