Will Levis is looking to make an impact at quarterback for the Tennessee Titans in 2023. The passer is expected to compete for the starting role alongside Ryan Tannehill and Malik Willis.

Levis is one of the most unknown prospects from the ’23 NFL Draft, slipping from potential No. 1 overall pick all the way down to the second round.

He boasts the size and athleticism to blossom into a superstar. Many have already drawn comparisons to Josh Allen due to that 6-4, 230-pound frame.

Unfortunately, his play on the field didn’t always impress.

With the Wildcats, Levis was inconsistent and inaccurate at times, leading to 23 picks in 24 games.

His draft profile echoed those thoughts.

Levis is one of the most physically gifted quarterbacks in the draft, but there are warts in his game that might not be easily corrected. He has prototypical size and experience operating in a pro-style passing attack… He struggled to put together an extended period of high-caliber quarterback play in 2022… Levis has the arm to beat coverages on all three levels, but inadequate placement and accuracy have created a lot of uncatchable throws.

Those inconsistencies showed in his latest practice performance.

Fans, of course, were quick to overreact to the practice lowlights.

One fan wrote, “Shocking,” while another said, “It’s almost like this could have been predicted!”

This tweet read, “Some things never change.”

Practice clips from the month of May will carry little weight in Will Levis’s future with the Titans, and he seemed to take the struggles in stride.

“I’m not going to beat myself up about it too much,” the passer said. “It’s motivation to go out there and perform to the best of your ability.”

We’ll see if he’s able to clean up some of the inconsistencies over spring and fall camp before suiting up for Tennessee next year.
