Christian Pulisic is on the move.

And yet again he’s set to join one of Europe’s most famous and historic  soccer clubs.

Pulisic made a stunning move from German club Borussia Dortmund to English giant Chelsea FC in 2019. He became the most expensive American player ever in the process, costing the Blues £58m.

His four years at Chelsea have been full of ups and downs.

He scored an incredible solo goal against Manchester City in 2020 to help lead Chelsea to a 2-1 victory and secure the Premier League title for Liverpool in the process.

He also became the first player to play in and then score in a UEFA Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid a year later.

The Blues went on to win the Champions League that season, making Pulisic the first American to have played in and won the tournament final.

But it hasn’t all been sunshine and roses. Injuries have plagued Pulisic for much of his time in West London and he’s struggled with Chelsea’s many managerial changes.

With one year left on his contract and seemingly on the outside looking in for new manager Mauricio Pochettino, Pulisic requested to leave this summer.

Chelsea was happy to oblige as the club struggled with financial issued.

A number of suitors were linked with the American star, including English side Newcastle and French power Olympique Lyonnais.

But in the end, it was another legendary club that appears to have landed his services.

Fabrizio Romano reported Friday after that 19-time Italian Serie A champions AC Milan have agreed to a deal to sign Pulisic. Milan finished fourth in Serie A again. The Rossoneri also reached the semifinals of the Champions League, a competitions they’ve won seven times.

Romano reports the deal comes in at around €22M or £18.8M.

Many expect Pulisic to play in the attacking trident of manager Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 system. He links up with former Chelsea teammates Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori in the process.

Fans were fired up about the move.
