A pair of college basketball bettors cashed in on major future bets by somehow predicting the most unpredictable Final Four field in recent memory. The two gamblers will now have quite the bankroll to work with when looking ahead to the last two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

This year’s Big Dance has provided upset after upset, helping fans remember why we call it March Madness. In the process, this field has made history.

The 2023 Final Four will be the first to not feature a No. 1, No. 2, or No. 3 seed. The top ranked team remaining in the field is UCONN, who entered the tournament on the four line.

Miami and San Diego State are five seeds while Cinderella story Florida Atlantic is a nine-seed.

Due to the lack of national brands, ticket prices for college basketball’s premiere event are as low as ever before. A fan can attend the Final Four for less than $150, a stark contrast from the year prior.

While many might be upset not to see a Duke or Kentucky still playing for a national title, at least two sports bettors were happy to see the surprising result.

With FAU, SDSU, UCONN, and Miami making the Final Four, a pair of gamblers were able to cash out bets to the tune of nearly $25K.

One of the tickets is shown below.

These parlays were placed before the Sweet 16 after the first weekend of action had commenced. The odds for the improbable Final Four bets were set right around +100,000 or 1,000-to-1.

Fans quickly commented on the big wins on social media.

One person wrote, “I have to meet these people,” while another hilariously said, “Time travel is possible.”

Great win for these bettors. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going over the next two rounds.
