Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Deputy Luis Hernandez will face an interesting opponent in his UFC debut.
Last week, Hernandez landed a UFC contract with an epic comeback win at Dana White’s Contender Series.

Hernandez will now make his UFC debut this weekend against Sedriques Dumas after Mickey Gall was forced out due to an injury.

Hernandez’s matchup against Dumas is interesting considering he’s a police officer, and Dumas has been arrested 14 times in the past 12 years.
The jokes just write themselves sometimes.

Dumas’ last arrest came in April of 2025 when he was charged with home invasion robbery, battery, possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon, and drug possession.
Dumas eventually accepted a plea deal and had several charges dropped, including robbery and battery.
