Flory Bidunga and Bryson Tiller both decided to enter the transfer portal after playing the 2025-26 college basketball season at Kansas. The former threw heavy shade at the latter for his commitment.
No matter how much fans in Lawrence don’t like him, he still looks better than his former teammate…
To leave one college basketball program for its biggest rival is a cardinal sin. You will be labeled as a rat!
Bryson Tiller transferred to Missouri.
As a native of Atlanta, Georgia, Tiller became the first high school sophomore to sign with Overtime Elite in 2022. He waived his $100,000 guaranteed salary in order to maintain his future college eligibility.
The 6-foot-11 forward averaged 12.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game during the 2023-24 season to finish top three in Defensive Player of the Year voting as a second-team All-OTE player. The City Reapers also won their second-straight championship.
A successful two-year run with Overtime Elite made Bryson Tiller one of the top prospects in the college basketball recruiting Class of 2024. Kansas ultimately received his commitment over Auburn, Georgia Tech and Indiana. He took a redshirt in 2024-25. He made his debut for the Jayhawks in 2025-26.
The season was good but not great. It did not go as well as they had hoped.
Tiller averaged 7.9 points on 44.9% shooting and 6.1 rebounds per game and Kansas finished at 24-11 and lost in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. There was still a lot of talent on which to build.
However, the Jayhawks lost a lot of that aforementioned talent to the transfer portal and Tiller was among them. The rising redshirt sophomore announced his decision to leave Kansas at the beginning of April in search of a fresh start. He will have three years of eligibility remaining at his new school, Missouri.
His decision sent shockwaves across college basketball. Rarely, if ever, does a player transfer from Kansas to Missouri. They are massive rivals. There is a lot of bad blood between them.
Flory Bidunga is the good guy?
Flory Bidunga, the reigning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, announced his decision to enter the transfer portal just a few days before Bryson Tiller. Kansas’ star big man was reportedly asking for a massive amount of NIL money from his potential suitors. Louisville paid up.
The Jayhawks and Cardinals are not rivals but the fanbase in Lawrence was disappointed to see him go. They stuck with him through an up-and-down freshman season. He was a crucial piece of the roster. They were excited to run it back in 2026-27.
And then he left.
Bidunga will finish up his career at Louisville. It is a huge bummer and fans don’t like him but… at least he didn’t transfer to Missouri! Even he took a shot at his former teammate with a targeted repost on TikTok.
The original video labeled Bidunga as a snitch and Tiller as a rat. There is a big difference.
Bidunga reposted the video with the following caption:

Shots fired! No matter how much Kansas fans hate Flory Bidunga, they hate Bryson Tiller even more. The man who was once Public Enemy No. 1 has since been relegated to Public Enemy No. 2. MIZ?! Really?!
