During yesterday’s pre-fight press Floyd Mayweather talked a big game about knocking out Conor McGregor during next month’s fight but his father/trainer doesn’t think that’s going to happen. According to the elder Mayweather, he doubts his son will be able to knock out McGregor because “there’s something wrong with his hands”
This could be a ploy from Floyd’s camp to generate more buzz for the fight but Mayweather Sr. seemed completely genuine about his answer. Now the question is, does it matter that Floyd will not be completely healthy going into the fight? We’re gonna have to wait until August 26th to find out.
