Francis Ngannou is getting paid big money outside of the UFC.

Earlier this year, Ngannou parted ways with the UFC after failing to negotiate a new contract with the company.

At the time, Ngannou said that he had turned down over $5 million to fight Jon Jones but wanted a more flexible contract.

The now-former UFC champion went on to sign with the PFL, which is allowing him to box Tyson Fury before his debut with them.

During a recent media session, Ngannou, who is reportedly making $10 million to box Fury, says that he will make way more money in his PFL debut than he made during his entire UFC career.

“If I combine all my salary that I have made in MMA it can’t even be half that of what I’m going to make in my next MMA fight, not boxing, just MMA”

Not only is Ngannou making big money inside the cage, but he’s also earning a ton of money outside of it.

Before his fight against Fury, Ngannou partnered with Roots of Fight to release a clothing collection.

Despite all the criticism, it seems pretty clear that Ngannou made the right decision by leaving the UFC.
