Denver Broncos Pass-Rusher Frank Clark, who previously played for the Kansas City Chiefs, has spoken out about the much-debated “Broncos-Chiefs” rivalry, shedding light on its true nature.

Frank Clark did not hold back in his assessment, bluntly stating, “I wouldn’t call it a rivalry. A rivalry is competitive.” And the statistics support his perspective – the Broncos have been unable to secure a victory against the Chiefs  for a staggering 15 consecutive games.

The pass-rusher, having spent four successful seasons with the Chiefs, has firsthand experience of the outcomes in the series.

From what Frank Clark has witnessed, he emphasized that a genuine rivalry demands competitiveness, something he believes has been lacking in their matchups with the Chiefs.

Clarifying his point, Clark pointed out the team’s need to focus on their own development and improvement rather than solely fixating on their rivalry with the Chiefs. “We have to beat the team,” he stated, stressing the importance of winning their division and addressing internal issues to become a formidable force.

As the Broncos continue to grapple with their prolonged losing streak, Clark’s words call for introspection and a renewed focus on improving their own game.
