Those of you who are of a certain age (hello, it me) will have grown up watching Frankie Muniz shows and movies.

Many of us spent countless hours watching Muniz place the leading role in Malcolm in the Middle (who would’ve guessed Bryan Cranston was the big star all along?). And who can forget Agent Cody Banks?

Thankfully, Muniz’s life hasn’t gone the way of many other childhood stars. But his acting career has fizzled out a bit. In fact, he doesn’t even remember his time on Malcolm in the Middle anymore.

Muniz has since turned to other outlets. He joined a number of different bands in the 2010s, including one based in my hometown of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He’s also made several forays into real estate and various business ventures.

But the one that Muniz seems to have stuck with the longest is auto racing. He drove the pace car for the infamous 2001 Daytona 500 and began his racing career in 2004 in the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race. Muniz has since continued racing and now plans on pursuing the sport full-time.

Frankie Muniz To Run Full Time In ARCA Series In 2023

According to ThePitLane.org, Muniz is going to run a full schedule in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023.

Actor and racecar driver Frankie Muniz is rumored to be joining Rette Jones Racing for the full 2023 ARCA Menards Series schedule. Muniz participated in the January Daytona test session last year with Fast Track Racing has been looking to compete in more stock car events. The 37 year-old New Jersey native tweeted that “[his] wife has been searching online what NASCAR wives wear to the races” and that it “means this is getting real y’all” in late December.

The ARCA Menards Series is a national stock car racing series that serves as a feeder series into NASCAR. A number of series champions have gone on to have successful NASCAR careers, with the last eight series champions all moving up to one of NASCAR’s three grand national series’ the following year.

At 37 years old, Muniz is getting started a bit later than move. But who knows? Maybe this is the start of a legendary career.
