Gabe Kapler’s run as San Francisco Giants manager came to an end last season after he was fired following a four-year stint at the helm. In that time, his teams posted a 295-248 overall record while missing the playoffs in three of those campaigns.

Since leaving the West Coast, he’s taken an unexpected turn. While Gabe Kapler remains in a Major League Baseball role, his off-the-field activity is what’s being talked about most these days.

The Marlins Assistant GM metamorphosized into a thirst-trapping, motivational speaking TikToker upon arriving in Miami. His online antics have made major waves with MLB followers, most of whom remain stunned by the bizarre transformation.

“Didn’t have Gabe Kapler posting rizzed up TikTok videos on my 2024 Bingo Card, but here we are.”

The shift has been incredible to watch.

Kapler was fired in September of 2023 after a 78-81 season. He joined TikTok on New Year’s Day of 2024.

His first video shows the former MLB manager handing out health tips for his new following. A resolution, of sorts.

A healthy lifestyle is nothing new to Kapler, who’s become known for his extreme eating habits as well as his incredible self-control in his post-MLB-playing days. This is a man that refuses to touch even a birthday cake!

A number of Kapler’s initial TikTok posts contained these motivational aspects, whether they focus on health, time management, or career advancement.

Lately, though, things have taken a turn!

Gabe Kapler has escalated to thirst traps!

That may not surprise former Giants pitcher Ross Stripling, who was heard in a 2023 interview saying that his manager boosted the team’s “sex appeal,” but for others, the suddenly rizzed up timeline came out of left field!

Over the last month, he’s been seen flooding TikTok with thirst traps – much to the delight of a portion of his online following.

“No one was prepared for Gabe Kapler to just casually drop a thirst trap.”

“Anyone else watched this 473,384,284 times?”

Then, he stepped it up a notch 30 days later.

Appeasing his social media audience, he then waited just a week before dropping yet another bomb.

The posts are becoming more prevalent, and the internet is losing its collective mind!

Seeing Gabe Kapler post thirst traps for 50+ year old women on TikTok, I now completely understand why he didn’t work as an MLB manager.”

Nobody loves Gabe Kapler more than Gabe Kapler.”

Gabe Kapler is doing TikTok trends while the Marlins are 18 games under .500.”

Just a wild turn of events. As the Assistant GM’s TikTok account continues to become more active, his Marlins continue to fall deeper into the cellar in the NL East.

At the time of this writing, Miami is 21-40, more than 21 games off the pace of first-place Philadelphia.
