Former Michigan State and Notre Dame big man Garrick Sherman went on a bizarre, booze-fueled Twitter tirade yesterday in which he dished on Tom Izzo, Michigan State and the NCAA.

The center, who is playing professionally in Georgia (the country), crushed his filter into a million little pieces and let the stream of consciousness flow.

First it was playful.

Then things got real as Sherman decided to reflect on his time at Michigan State and the awfulness of the NCAA.

Well, that’s a lot to take in.

It’s worth mentioning that Sherman was unhappy in East Lansing and transferred out. It’s also worth mentioning that alcohol impairs judgement.

Sherman has since deleted the tweets, but linked to this post.

The real takeaway from all of this? There’s not a hell of a lot to do over in Georgia at 4 a.m. on Friday morning.
