Georgia pulled the most cowardly move in college football after losing to Auburn at home on Saturday. The Bulldogs don’t want anyone to see the final score.
That applies to both the fans in the stadium and everyone on social media.
One of the most dominant programs in recent college football history refuses to acknowledge a single bad result. That’s pathetic!
Auburn pulled a monumental upset over the top-ranked team in college football.
The Tigers became the second unranked team to defeat the No. 1-ranked team in the country in back-to-back weeks. They defeated the Bulldogs in Athens just one week after the Sooners defeated the Longhorns in Dallas. It was a shocking result.
Auburn went up by 10 points at the end of the third quarter but Georgia rallied back to tie the game in the fourth. The visitors got the ball back on offense with under a minute remaining. They quickly drove into field goal range. An extremely costly roughing the passer penalty put them even closer to the uprights.

Head coach Alex Golesh delivered an electric speech in locker room after the win. It was also an incredible scene back home in Alabama.
Vibes were not quite as high in Athens. The Bulldogs and their fans were depressed.
Georgia refused to post the final score.
It is customary for both teams — win or lose — to post the final score on social media. That unspoken rule does not only apply to college football. It is also true for MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, soccer, field hockey, etc.
If I remember my scripture correctly, Moses once declared: “Though must post final score” as one of the Ten Commandments. Maybe I got that mixed up?
Nevertheless, Georgia has not posted the final score from its loss to Auburn. It shared the score at the end of the third quarter.
It only posted that the game was over after the game ended. It also has not posted the score on Instagram.
To make matters worse, the Bulldogs refused to put the final score on the scoreboard in the stadium. They cut to a graphic as soon as the ball went through the uprights.
A final score graphic has not yet been posted to any Georgia social media account as of Sunday morning and it doesn’t seem like the Bulldogs plan to do so. Lame.
