New York Giants-Buffalo Bills Fight Results In Astounding Eight Personal Foul Penalties

Despite it being the most violent version of a pretty violent sport, NFL players are usually pretty well-behaved after the snap. But, that was not the case in the 3rd quarter of Sunday Night Football between the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills, when quite the kerfuffle happened.

It came on a crucial 2nd and goal play with the Bills trailing 6-0. Take a look.

A lot happened in that pile, that’s for sure. Up to that point, it had been a very physical game, so it’s no surprise that tempers boiled over like they did.

Officials needed a few minutes to sort everything out. And, some thought that a few players would and should get ejected. Ultimately, eight total personal fouls were handed out, but there were no ejections.

Personally, I thought that Leonard Williams should’ve been ejected, as hit was egregious, away from the pile, and very late. Everyone else probably deserved to keep playing.

The penalties offset, and the Bills scored a play later on a pass from Josh Allen to Deonte Hardy. But, everyone will be talking about the fight tomorrow.
