Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas had a much different reaction than those of fans on Twitter. While commenting on Instagram post, Arenas blasted Carter for coming back and taking away a roster spot from a younger player.

Fans weren’t pleased with Arenas’ take.

Nah, that ain’t it chief.
If (insert name) is good enough, they’ll get a spot. That applies to VC too.

At the end of the day if a team believes Carter can still contribute then there’s no reason he shouldn’t have a spot on a team over a younger player.
