Fantasy Football punishments can take many forms.
A league I was in went viral years back where we had a ‘fly rule.’ The league winner had a few hundred to spend on a one-way plane ticket and the toilet bowl loser had to go travel to some destination and present to the league.
We famously sent one guy to a haunted clown motel, a dilapidated hotel that’s literally crawling in clowns and next door to a graveyard, in the middle of the desert. You can see pics of that legendary fantasy football punishment in my Clown Motel article.
The thing about that fantasy football punishment was it might have gone too far… The league didn’t last many more years after that and nerves were constantly frayed when a team wasn’t good. None of the members wanted to be the first person to get sent to Siberia because of fantasy football.
This punishment below though, it takes a different turn. The guy was forced to go golfing in a dress. A punishment that would 100% not fly at most private clubs. But he holes out from 160-yards on the very first hole for an eagle and honestly, he might wear dresses forever now.

Golf is a game of superstition. Golfers are deeply superstitious athletes, something I discussed in an interview with Colin Montgomerie earlier this Summer.
If I was in that golfer’s shoes, I wouldn’t be able to hit the course without thinking about how I’d probably be playing better if I was wearing a dress. Though, this did happen on the first hole of the round. And it was unclear how many holes the golfer had to wear the dress for.
It is entirely possible the fantasy football punishment only lasted for the Front 9 and the golfer played even better on the Back 9. We just don’t have enough information about the golfer or the punishment to determine what happened later and if wearing a dress forever after this is something they needed to look in the mirror and deeply consider.
Either way, they have an epic viral video of holing out from 160 yards on the first hole while wearing a dress. And methinks this will only up the ante for the league’s fantasy football punishment next year.
Perhaps they will have a golfer attempt to qualify for the US Open (like this guy/league) and that golfer shoots a round of 112 in the qualifier…
