Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer did not get a warm reception at the NFL draft.
On Saturday, Whitmer attended the draft in Detroit to reveal that the city had broken the NFL’s draft attendance record.
“It has been a historic week in the great city of Detroit. We have shown the world what the Motor City is all about. It is my honor to announce that the 2024 NFL Draft has now broken the all-time record!”

Before her big announcement, Whitmer, a controversial figure in the state since the pandemic, got loudly booed by the Detroit card.

Probably not the best idea to bring out a politician to the draft.
