Gronk Wanted To Spike Fake Pumpkins, Then Nearly Broke The ‘Thursday Night Football’ Set With A Football

Rob Gronkowski is a large man who often does things that a large man would do—you know, like bulldozing opposing players, dragging defenders and, when he gets into the end zone, spiking the living hell out of the ball. It’s sort of his thing.

After the Pats defeated the Dolphins tonight on Thursday Night Football, Gronk got welcomed to the NFL Network set, wearing no shoes and doing what he does best; be Gronk.

Asking if he could spike the pumpkins on the stage—which he was told were fake—No. 87 proceeded to nearly break the damn set with one of his thunderous football spikes instead, scaring everyone around him as if they’re life were in danger and, no doubt, causing some action on the Richter scale.

It’s probably a good thing he didn’t smash those pumpkins, who knows what would’ve happened.
