Haley Cavinder is set to make her return to college basketball in 2024 and she appeared to tease a potential suitor in a new TikTok video over the weekend. Is she headed to the Big 12? Perhaps.

Haley Cavinder and Hanna Cavinder both retired from the sport back in April. They intended to pursue business deals that are not restricted by NIL rules.

Hanna is staying retired. Haley, who is much better than her twin sister in terms of career statistics, announced last week that a comeback is in the works.

She averaged 18.6 points per game during her first three seasons at Fresno State and 12.2 points per game during one season at Miami. She earned second-team All-ACC honors in 2022/23 as a result.

Haley will not return to Miami this season. Her announcement came too close to the season so she is taking the year off.

From there, options are open. Haley entered the transfer portal to see what is out there.

It is possible that she could rejoin the Hurricanes. It is possible that she could use a graduate transfer to play her fifth and final year of eligibility at another school.

Haley’s list of potential programs is unclear at this point. Nothing has been said publicly and it would be silly to speculate with schools like USC, Iowa or LSU.

However, the Cavinder family was in Dallas for a music festival over the weekend. While in the area, Hanna and her father stopped by TCU for a visit.

A video posted to TikTok shows Haley on campus in Fort Worth. The caption alludes to college hoops.

Connecting the dots, Haley was at TCU to see if it might be somewhere she wants to play.

There will be a lot of scrutiny surrounding Haley’s every move over the next few months. Not only because of the brand she has built, but because she can hoop!

The unretired Cavinder twin will provide an instant talent boost to whichever team she chooses.
