UFC’s Henry Cejudo Finally Returns To The Cage For An Immediate Title Shot

It’s been a while since we’ve last seen Henry Cejudo in the UFC. He’s been busy on the sidelines chirping at everybody in his former weight division. Now, it sounds like he’s finally going to make his return and receive an immediate title shot.

According to MMA Fighting, current UFC champion Aljamain Sterling announces his next fight will be against Henry Cejudo. During an appearance on The Weekly Scraps Podcast, the bantamweight champion stated he’ll be facing off against Cejudo in his next bout. “I’m announcing that I am going to fight Henry next. We are targeting March.”

Of course, Henry Cejudo responded to Aljamain Sterling’s fight announcement with his usual trash-talking ways. He even throws a subtle jab at The Liver King in doing so. At least he confirms the fight date in March.

Many have been anticipating Henry Cejudo’s next potential fight. Especially considering he talks smack to every single fighter in the bantamweight division. We’ve seen him call out guys like Sean O’Malley and Chito Vera. Even so, the former double-champ aims for a return to the UFC to take on Aljamain Sterling who he’s been trash-talking for a while now.

Look for the organization to announce the Aljamain Sterling-Henry Cejudo fight in the coming weeks, especially if they’re going to square off in March.
