Vince Mosley is the most viral quarterback in high school football. However, it appears to be a facade.
The video that is generating all of the buzz does not look real!
If the video is true to form, Mosley is going to be the most coveted high school football prospect… ever. I certainly don’t think so but I cannot say with 100% certainty.
Who is Vince Mosley?
To be completely honest, there is not a lot of information about Mosley. He is a native of Florida who attends Miami Central High School as a ninth grader. He is a Class of 2029 recruit.
Despite his age, Vince Mosley Jr. lists himself at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds even though he played on the 13U level at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds. That is a big frame for a freshman. His size is going to set him apart.
According to his Instagram, Mosley currently holds two scholarship offers from Kentucky and Pittsburgh. They are calling him a “five-star freshman” and a duel-threat “gunslinger.” Agents are already blowing up his page to offer their services. He continues to generate a lot of chatter.
All of the hype is great but Mosley has yet to play a varsity game for the Rockets.
There is a lot of time for things to change. Maybe he is the real deal! Maybe he will get eaten alive when he throws against some of the best athletes in the country out of the Sunshine State. We’ll see.
Is the viral high school football video real?
The Vince Mosley brand has absolutely skyrocketed over the last few days because of a video posted on X by quarterback development coach “QBDoctor.” It is suspicious, to say the last.
To be completely fair to Mosley, it’s not like he can’t throw a spiral. He deserves to be on the radar of college programs. He has to earn the starting job at Miami Central and prove himself against high school competition in the fall but he deserves a proper look on the next level. His ceiling is legit.
However, the video that has been viewed more than 10 million times on social media may not be legit. Take a look:

If that video is real, Mosley is the greatest quarterback prospect of all-time. I don’t know of another quarterback who can throw that consistent of a spiral with such a fluid motion and fast release, ever. Maybe Dan Marino? I don’t know.
The key word here is “if.” I am pretty confident that the QBDoctor video has been… doctored. Whether through the use of A.I. or a video editing software, I don’t think it is real. The cuts are super weird.
And if you watch his other videos, his throwing motion and quick trigger is not consistent.

It’s not the same.
This isn’t to say Mosley is bad. Just that his motion doesn’t look true to reality.
