In soccer you’re allowed to get away with plenty of physical contact but lunging at someone and tackling them is usually a no-no.
During a high school soccer game between Pinecrest and Pine Forest in North Carolina, Pine Forest goalie Cassie Sturtz was so angry that her team was about to lose that she destroyed her opponent on what seemed to be an easy goal scoring opportunity for Pinecrest.
The Pine Forest goalie was somehow not ejected from the game but was eventually suspended for two games.
