The Brookings defender went for the ball after a pass from a teammate was stolen. He jarred it loose while making contact with his counterpart.
The RCC player responded by shoving his opposition to the ground. He then kicked the fallen player on the ground and began wailing with a series of jabs.
Brookings teammates quickly came to the defense, sparking a wrestling match. Eventually, the two sides were separated and play continued.
Will there be punishment?
To this point, there is no public response to the high school soccer brawl from the governing body. Parents and viewers of the video demand action.
“This should no doubt be a season suspension.”
“Hope he never gets to step on a soccer field again.”
Many called for legal repercussions.
“This should draw criminal charges.”
