Will Smith was selected with the fourth overall pick in Wednesday’s NHL Draft, but it’s his sister who’s stealing the headlines thanks to a now viral video. Hockey Twitter has identified the girl in the clip as Grace, and she was involved in a comical moment on draft night.

Following her brother’s selection, she was inadvertently hit in the face with a left hook from one of Will’s friends. The two had been celebrating the news that he’d soon be playing for the San Jose Sharks.

While going in for a hug, it appeared that Will’s friend’s left hand got Grace across the chin. She took it like an absolute champ, though, not even flinching.

Take a look.

Typically, it’s the players who are taking the shots, not family members. In this case, Will Smith’s sister received the brunt this accidental jab.

Fans were quick to react to the humorous video, offering up hilarious responses to the clip.

One follower wrote, “Anyone in the vicinity of Will Smith better keep their head in a swivel.”

Another said, “LeBron would’ve been flying across the floor if this happened to him.”

This fan asked, “What’s with ‘Will Smith’ and slaps on national TV?” referencing an incident between actor Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock.

Some believed it was a good sign for Will Smith’s NHL future with this person saying, “He comes from a tough family. You’ve got to love it if you’re a scout.”

Smith is considered one of the top prospects coming into the NHL this year. Following a decorated career at Boston College, he’ll take his talents to the West Coast.

We’ll see if his sister is involved in any more headlines as Will Smith begins his professional career.
