Philadelphia Eagles Executive Vice President Howie Roseman is one of the most widely-respected NFL player personnel executives in the league. He’s now built two Super Bowl-winning teams with pretty different cores, and is always making shrewd moves.
Right now, he’s basking in the team’s blowout win of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVI last month. And, he had a great one-liner about what winning a Super Bowl feels like.
Roseman made plenty of shrewd moves last offseason to get Philadelphia in the position to be the NFL’s best team in 2024. The biggest one is his signing of Saquon Barkley, who ran for more yards in the regular season and postseason combined than any other running back in league history. Mekhi Becton was a huge pickup as a former offensive tackle for the Jets to move inside to guard in Philadelphia. And, his first two draft picks in 2024, Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell, remade the secondary as both proved to be stars.
It’s hard to argue that the Eagles aren’t the best-run organization in the league, and Howie is taking a well-deserved victory lap after raising his second Lombardi Trophy. Take a look at these comments he recently made on the McShay show.
“The first one… it’s almost like the first time you have sex. You are so glad you had sex it’s not even the quality of it. The second time it’s like ‘Wow I can actually have fun and enjoy this’”

when the guy running football ops starts talking like this, you know that he feels great about his job security.
