Hugh Freeze has not yet learned to use a burner account for any questionable scrolling on Instagram. He appeared to get caught being #hornyonmain with an extremely awkward repost.
It did not take long for him to update his profile with a very obvious cover-up.
Considering his well-documented past, the former college football coach at Ole Miss, Liberty and Auburn should probably be more careful with how he interacts on social media. Especially when it comes to members of the opposite gender and artificial intelligence. Everything is public!
Hugh Freeze is very active social media.
Freeze used to be very active on social media. He frequently found (searched?) his own name on Twitter/X to then reply to any criticism in the original poster’s DMs. I know this because I have had many (mostly one-sided) conversations with the former head coach at Ole Miss, dating back to 2017.
I am not the only one! These kinds of interactions happened fairly often from 2017-2022. They were mostly harmless.
However, Hugh Freeze at one point DMed an alleged victim of sexual assault to defend the character of Liberty University athletic director Ian McCaw. That obviously crossed a line.
As a result of his behavior on the internet, Auburn effectively took away his social media privileges when he was hired in 2023. His contract reportedly included a clause that forced him to relinquish control of his personal accounts for as long as he was employed by the university.
Freeze will say it was not quite that strict but his feed would say otherwise. He did not post with the same amount of frequency at Auburn as he did in the past. Nobody heard from him in their DMs. It was quiet.
Instagram models might be A.I.
Hugh Freeze was fired by Auburn on Nov. 2, 2025. The social media clause no longer applied.
Although Freeze did not return to X with an increased frequency of posts, he was allowed to scroll on his own terms. That also applies to Instagram, which is the preferred platform of his youngest daughter.
The 56-year-old created quite the stir on Tuesday morning.
He reposted a video of a scantily-clad woman who may or may not be real to his feed. The lady in question might be A.I. but I cannot find “her” profile so I cannot say for sure.
Hand up — I was not able to verify the repost in time.
By the time I got to Freeze’s feed, his only three reposts were of viral preacher Philip Anthony Mitchell from 16 hours ago, his daughter Madison on Valentine’s Day from 16 hours ago, and another preacher from the All Christ Church in Auburn, Alabama from a week ago. There were only three reposts.
The busty woman was not there. Nor was the second post in the above screenshot. It, too, was removed.
However, the second post from the original screenshot has since returned to his feed in the time it took for me to write this article. It is now the first thumbnail on Freeze’s feed, in front of the preachers and Madison.

That confirms that Freeze is aware of his reposts. He got caught being #hornyonmain and made it obvious that he scrambled to undo his mistake after it went viral.
To make matters worse, Freeze (as of this writing) still follows an account called “saritathecop.” The account depicts an attractive female police officer with a large butt. It is not real. It is all A.I.
Hugh Freeze, a self-declared man of faith, has not learned to use a burner account. You would think he would’ve switched over after he got caught calling escorts on a university-issued cellphone at Ole Miss!
