Brawl Mars Texas A&M-Commerce VS. Incarnate Word College Basketball Game

Presumably, some college basketball diehards sat down to watch a Southland Conference game between Texas A&M-Commerce and Incarnate Word. Great way to spend a Monday night.

But, their experience was marred by a brutal brawl that took place between the two teams that frankly has no place in the game.

They saw a great game, as it went into overtime. Texas A&M-Commerce ultimately pulled out a 76-72 win in a matchup of two Southland bottom-dwellers.

But, that’s when chaos occurred. Take a look.

That wasn’t a skirmish. That was a full-on brawl, with incidents spilling out all over the court. There’s going to be some serious discipline handed out to all of those involved. Given that neither team is any good, with just eighteen wins between them, maybe they decide to not finish the rest of the season. That seems unlikely, but it’s definitely something that can happen with situations as severe as this.

As we all know, things can get pretty emotional at the end of a close game. Given that these are two teams from Texas, a lot of these players probably grew up playing against each other on the AAU circuit, as well. But, incidents like this simply cannot happen.
