Certainly never one of the NFL’s choir boys, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill once again found himself in some legal trouble this offseason, and as a result, took a pot shot from the Indianapolis Colts in their deleted schedule announcement video.

Earlier this Spring, Tyreek Hill — who was already giving the Miami Dolphins headaches with his increasingly vocal desire to be traded — was involved in a domestic dispute at his South Florida home, leading to a police response (although no charges were filed).

Last fall, during the 2024 season, Hill was also detained by Miami-Dade police near Hard Rock Stadium during a traffic stop, which appears to be what the Colts were referencing in their video.

The Colts may have taken the video down from their official channels, but not before someone could download and post it themselves.

Beyond his recent situations, Hill has faced numerous legal issues throughout both his college career at Oklahoma State University and his NFL career with Miami and the Kansas City Chiefs, ranging from domestic violence charges to recent disputes.

In 2013, Hill was arrested and charged for domestic assault and battery by strangulation. In 2019, Hill and his partner were investigated after their then-3-year-old son suffered a broke arm, with the District Attorney eventually determining that while a crime had occurred, they lacked the proper evidence to prosecute Hill.

Despite deleting the video following backlash, the Colts have not issued a statement addressing the post or apologizing to Hill.

Minecraft-themed announcement videos seemed to be a bit of a trend for NFL teams this season, as in addition to the Colts, the Los Angeles Chargers also made their schedule announcement Minecraft-themed, while the New York Jets mentioned it in theirs.
