We’ve always heard those somewhat odd stories about not having sex before a big game. Some people swear that having sex can affect how one plays or performs while some think it’ just a load of garbage.
Well, in case you were wondering, Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is all for his players having sex, but it just can’t be good sex. Nope, it shouldn’t last long or even require that much effort, according to the Italian.
Conte spoke with French outlet L’Equipe about sex during the season and had some very interesting ideas and recommendations.
“I was a player as well, during the season, sex should not last long.”
“It should be done with the least effort possible, and underneath their partners, preferably with their wife, as it requires less of an extraordinary performance.”
So, the secret to balancing your sex life and professional soccer career is having the sex, just not caring about your partner during the sex, which again, should be your wife.
It’s worth noting that Conte is indeed a married man.
If his players are taking Conte’s advice, it’s worked out pretty well so far this season as Inter sit second in the Serie A table just a point behind Cristiana Ronaldo and Juventus. Inter takes on Torino on Saturday and if they come out with a win, we can chalk it up to Conte’s sex education I think.
