Fans are trolling the Arkansas football program for its release of a video on social media Monday evening. The clip commemorates the Razorbacks’ 2022 Liberty Bowl victory over Kansas, showing off the rings the team received for the win.

While the program is proud of capping a successful campaign with an exciting postseason win, many online are taking jabs at the video release.

The Hogs won seven contests in 2022, including triumphs over ranked foes Ole Miss and Cincinnati. Unfortunately, the team struggled to finish the regular season, losing three of the final four matchups each by three points or less.

Arkansas didn’t let the late season hangover affect their bowl game performance, though. In a meeting with Kansas, the Razorbacks jumped out to a 31-13 lead by halftime.

Though they did let the Jayhawks score two touchdowns in the final two minutes of regulation to force overtime, they’d escape with a two-point victory when all was said and done.

The Liberty Bowl win gave the Razorbacks their seventh victory, securing a second straight winning season.

Some, though, feel that the Arkansas football team was treating it like a national championship. The social media department posted a video Monday to commemorate that win while showing off the Liberty Bowl rings.

It was met with immediate criticism.

Fans started trolling the video on social media.

One person wrote, “This is an embarrassment to the conference.” Another said, “This seems like something that should’ve been done in private.”

Even Arkansas fans wanted the post taken down.

This Razorback said, “Delete this before we get dragged.”

It’s too late. The damage has already been done.

It seemed the entire college football world was laughing.

Tough look for the Arkansas football program.
